I have been interested in native areas for my whole life. I started volunteering at local forest preserves in 2014; and I have since worked at a variety of public agencies as well as private native area companies. Since starting to volunteer and work in the industry I have obtained a bachelors degree in the study of native plant/area installation and maintenance. This gave me a structured education in the subject of ecosystem restoration and conservational biology. From working at multiple different employers I have gained a large variety of skills and have taken note of techniques that work well as well as ones that do not to save your time and funds for greater success with your planting.
